7v7 game with a sweeper-keeper rule
U11 7v7 game where the keeper steps to the edge of the area when the team has the ball and sweeps behind the defence if the opponent plays long.
Rules
- Keeper stands on the edge of the penalty area while the team attacks
- A goal counts double if the keeper passed in the build-up
Coaching points
- Keeper talks to defenders before every phase
- Adjust position each time the ball moves
- Restart quickly after a save or catch
