1. Scope
These terms apply to the purchase of the "DorsalCUP Coaching Notebooks" ebooks on the dorsalcup.com website. The books are published by DorsalCUP.
Payment is handled through Link, a Stripe service, which acts as authorised reseller (merchant of record); on the receipt and the bank statement, the purchase appears as sold through Link (LINK.COM). Stripe processes the payment, issues the receipt and invoice, and accounts for the VAT or other tax due in the buyer's country. DorsalCUP is responsible for the content of the books, their delivery and the licence described in section 5.
By making a purchase, the buyer accepts these terms.
2. Products

Each book is available in English, Portuguese and Spanish. The contents of each edition are described on the book's page, which also offers a free sample.
3. Price and payment
Prices are in euros and include VAT. Stripe may show the price converted into the buyer's currency. Payment is made by card, Apple Pay, Google Pay or Link at the time of purchase.
4. Delivery
The book is delivered straight after payment, on the confirmation page and by email, through a personal download link. The link is valid for 30 days and allows 10 downloads of each file. Once the link has expired, the buyer can ask for a new one at dorsalcup.com/compra/recuperar, using the email address used for the purchase.
We recommend saving the PDF to your own device as soon as you have downloaded it.
5. Licence
The purchase gives the buyer a personal, non-exclusive and perpetual licence to use the book:
- in their own training sessions and those of their club, including printing pages for that purpose;
- on any of the buyer's devices.
The buyer may not:
- copy, share, send or publish the file, in whole or in part, beyond that use;
- resell the book or include it in another product or service;
- remove or alter the authorship and copyright notices.
The texts, drills, diagrams and animations are protected by DorsalCUP's copyright.
6. Animations and QR codes
Every drill page has a QR code and a web address that open the drill's animation on the dorsalcup.com tactics board. This access is a free extra that comes with the book and works for as long as the website is available.
The book stands on its own: each drill is complete on its page, with the set-up, the rules, the animation steps drawn and explained, the coaching points, the common mistakes and the variations. You do not need the animations to use the book.
DorsalCUP may change, suspend or discontinue the website, the tactics board or the animations, temporarily or permanently. If that happens, the QR codes and web addresses may stop working. This does not affect the content of the book and does not entitle the buyer to a refund.
7. Right to cancel
As a rule, consumers have 14 days to cancel a purchase made at a distance. For digital content, this right is lost once supply has begun with the consumer's prior express consent and their acknowledgement that they thereby lose the right (Directive 2011/83/EU, Article 16(m); in Portugal, Decree-Law 24/2014, Article 17(1)(m)).
Before paying, the buyer requests immediate access to the book and accepts losing the right to cancel. For that reason, once the purchase is complete, no refund is given for a change of mind.
8. Faulty files
If the file does not open, is incomplete or does not match its description, the buyer should write to [email protected]. DorsalCUP will send a corrected file or, if that is not possible, refund the purchase, in accordance with the law on the conformity of digital content.
9. Liability
The drills are training suggestions for coaches. It is the coach's responsibility to adapt them to the players' age, level and fitness, to the space and equipment available, and to ensure the players' safety during training. The rules of the match formats vary between associations and federations, and should be checked against local regulations.
DorsalCUP is not liable for any harm resulting from using the drills without proper supervision and adaptation.
10. Personal data
To deliver the book, DorsalCUP keeps the buyer's email address, the products bought and a record of the downloads. Payment and billing data are processed by Stripe. More information is available in the Privacy Policy.
11. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by Portuguese law, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protection rules of the buyer's country of residence.
In the event of a dispute, consumers may turn to an alternative dispute resolution body for consumer disputes: CNIACC (Centro Nacional de Informação e Arbitragem de Conflitos de Consumo, www.cniacc.pt).
12. Changes
DorsalCUP may change these terms. Purchases made before a change remain subject to the terms in force on the date of purchase.
