Two teams of 4, each with a goalkeeper and three outfield players. The game starts with a keeper rolling the ball out. Behind each goal there are spare balls so the keeper who concedes can restart without waiting. Each team has a pair of gloves hanging on the post.
Rules
- The scorer runs straight to their own goal. The keeper can only leave the box once the scorer has tagged their hand; they then become an outfield player.
- The keeper who conceded restarts immediately with a spare ball (rolled or passed with the foot), without waiting for the opposition's swap.
- Until the swap happens, the team who scored defend a player down.
- If the scorer has already been in goal in that set, they choose a team-mate who hasn't yet to go in goal instead.
- The keeper can only handle the ball inside the 6 m box.
- A goal scored into an empty goal (before the swap) is worth 2.
Animation steps
- Yellow's No. 3 shoots and scores.
- The red keeper, who conceded, restarts straight away to red No. 2; No. 3 runs to their own goal and the yellow keeper comes to meet them.
- Hand tag: No. 3 goes in goal and the old keeper plays outfield. Red No. 2 dribbles forward.
- The new keeper reaches the goal while yellow No. 1 presses.
- Red No. 2 shoots; the new keeper is already in the set position, in line with the ball.
