Positional rondo with two central players 6 8 20×18 m · 4+2 v 3 Team A Opponent Neutral Pass Press
Positional rondo 4v3 plus two central players in 20×18 m: four lime players on the sides and two inside (blue) against three red pressers. A pass that goes through the middle (side, central player, opposite side) scores a point; red score by winning the ball and passing out of the box.

Rules

  • Side players limited to two touches, central players to one or two
  • Point for each side-to-side pass that goes via a central player
  • Pressers score by winning the ball and getting it out of the box
  • Whoever loses the ball swaps in as a presser
  • 1 minute rest between blocks; precede with a 10–12 min injury-prevention routine

Coaching points

  • Central players stay on different lines (one higher, one deeper) so the pressers cannot cover both
  • Side player carries the ball one step towards a presser to fix them, then passes
  • The logic of the build-up in miniature
