Receive, turn and shoot
A striker checks towards one of two servers 25 m out, turns with the first touch and shoots with the second against a goalkeeper.
Rules
- Strikers start one at a time on the edge of the area, back to goal
- Firm pass from the server, turn with touch one, shoot with touch two
- Alternate servers to use both feet
To make it harder
- A defender starts goal-side and goes live on the pass
Coaching points
- Check the goalkeeper's position before receiving
- First touch out of the feet towards goal
- Shoot across the goalkeeper
- Follow in for rebounds
