3v1 support rondo in 10×10 m boxes: the ball carrier always needs two team-mates on the sides of the square next to them, never on the opposite side. After each pass, the player now on the opposite side moves to a side next to the new ball carrier, as shown in both boxes.

Rules

  • Attackers move along the sides of the square
  • Defender changes after six passes in a row or a regain
  • Support players stand on the sides adjacent to the ball carrier, never opposite
  • 1 min rest; everyone defends at least twice

To make it easier

  • 12×12 m box
  • Minimum two touches to give time to look

To make it harder

  • 4v2 in 12×12 m
  • One-touch passes count double

Coaching points

  • Move if the defender can cut the pass with one step
  • Move after every pass
  • Receive on the foot further from the defender

Common mistakes

  • Support player hidden behind the defender in the cover shadow
